Published!!! 09/04/2009
04/Sept/09 The book is published! It brings a great sense of relief and satisfaction. For years I have worried about finishing it, and then worried about how it would look when printed. I am happy with its appearance, but now I can start worrying about whether anybody will buy it. I think the fact that I always do this thing of looking for the next step as soon as I have reached the one I was aiming for was a major factor in pushing my running career forward. Every once in a while I'd wonder what you're up to and try to send a message only to have it come back. Can't wait to buy a copy of your book. Come visit in Newton but no more repeat 1/4s for me.

Just ordered a copy of the book from Amazon. I do hope there is a chapter on the early nineties mid week race at Newton Aycliffe ( a Chris White spectacular!) when I beat both you and Mick Mcleod, what do you mean it was only a training run ! Happy days.
